Morel's invention: reading a fragment
2017. Texts on the wall from the work Morel's invention by Adolfo Bioy Casares and performance reading. The action took place on 09.09.07 from midday solar to the setting sun, totaling more than six hours of work.
Morel's invention: reading a fragment was a performance that occurred within the project of exhibition Sala de Leitura (Reading Room), curated by Galciani Neves, at SESC São Carlos, Brazil.
It was an action carried out by two artist readers, from the original Spanish fragment of the text Morel's invention by Adolfo Bioy Casares, and its free translation organized by Maura Grimaldi.
The action articulated the relations of the body and the voice within the exhibition space and proposed the experience of duplication of the individuals through the projections of simultaneous voices.
